Free Summer Family Fun!

The Skate Pack Cobourg

Skate Pack Cobourg is a fun way for youth (and parents) to try skateboarding. It’s a hangout (not formal lessons) that lets people
borrow gear and chat with experienced skateboarders in a positive and inclusive space while learning and practicing skateboarding!

Northumberland Kids Hiking Club

A kid-friendly meet-up group that brings together families interested in discovering local trails and getting kids out for regular nature hikes.

EaryON Free Fun

EarlyON Child and Family Centres are where children, parents, and caregivers can laugh, be curious, play, learn, make friends, and feel a sense of belonging. They offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor free drop-in programs and services that help your child reach their full potential.

The Libraries of Northumberland County

With summer reading clubs, movie nights, storytimes, crafts, special guests, and, of course, lots of books and other media, your local library branch, or any branch for that matter, is sure to offer many opportunities for free family fun. Some events may require pre-registering, so check beforehand for scheduling and details.

Splash Pads

Beat the heat without breaking the bank at the several splash pads NOCO offers, including Wladyka Park in Port Hope, Victoria Park in Cobourg, Kennedy Park in Campbellford, and King Edward Park in Brighton.
