Much to the chagrin of her mother and her estranged husband, Kim has invited Jim, a visiting classical musician, to stay in a spare room in her family's old farmhouse. This is so out of character – she knows almost nothing about Jim, or classical music, for that matter.

But, in the aftermath of a family tragedy, Kim has sought solace at the farm, a quiet place away from the city, and Jim offers her the chance to love, feel joy, and laugh again.

Written with sensitivity and humour by Canadian playwright Joan Burrows, Willow Quartet tells a story of navigating grief and finding a path towards forgiveness and healing.
